A  ten minute drive will bring you to quaint Shelburne Falls where you can walk the Bridge of Flowers, observe glass blowers and candlemakers at work, browse country shops, explore glacial potholes, and then dine at one of the area's fine restaurants.

A thirty minute drive will take you to Historic Deerfield, a butterfly conservatory or the famous Yankee Candle Company for shopping and dining.

Within an hour, art lovers will find themselves at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge or the Clark Museum in Williamstown viewing the works of great masters including Renoir. And let us not forget Tanglewood. Each season brings its joy of local sports. Cross-country ski trails are offered as well as downhill at Berkshire East. In Summer, try your skill at white water rafting. And of course walking and hiking are great just anytime.
